About Hader Helal
Hader Helal is a leading Egyptian corporate/commercial lawyer with over 19 years of experience. Prior to forming Helal and Fraser International, she was the managing partner in Open Chance Law Firm, founded by her late father Dr Helal Farghaly in 2001. Hader has extensive experience in negotiating and concluding commercial contracts and transactions and has worked as a legal counsel for several companies on different disciplines of business including; IT, real estate development and property management, manufacturing, technology, and energy. Hader has also spent some time as a legal counsel in a UK law firm, based in London.
Hader has advised and represented several government and quasi government entities on several matters and is currently a legal advisor on a project for the New and Renewable Energy Agency (NREA) in Egypt, which is driving the Egypt Green Corridor Initiative with solar, wind and hydrogen projects.
Hader is a board member in Emaar Misr for Development Company, a company owned by the Government of Dubai and Egypt’s premier real estate developer and is also a board member in several other companies including a company owned by the Egyptian Post Office Authority. She is also on the board of trustees in the Association for Electricity Market Development.
Hader is currently studying her Doctorate in Business Administration and has a master's degree in international Comparative Law from the American University in Cairo and a Banking Law diploma from Zurich University.
