Water Innovation 2050
Water Innovation 2050 is an alliance of 19 UK water companies which have developed a draft water innovation strategy for the sector. The strategy looks ahead and provides a roadmap for the UK water sector to collaborate and innovate to meet the challenge of the future.
It has been published in anticipation of Ofwat’s £200million Innovation fund and the establishment of a centre of excellence UK hub for global water innovation. There are seven key themes which include carbon neutrality, protecting and enhancing natural systems and delivering resilient infrastructure systems.
