HFI’s ADIPEC edition of the Acquisitions & Divestments Guidebook
HFI was delighted to launch its latest edition of our Acquisitions & Divestments Guidebook.
Across the GCC, the Energy Industries Council (EIC) DataStream project database is now tracking 569 energy projects with a total value of almost US$781bn in the GCC in the period to 2030, underlining the scale of the energy sector opportunities in the Middle East.
One route to unlocking these opportunities is the acquisition option. HFI has over 20 years track record of planning and implementing clients’ acquisition mandates in the Middle East. It has also been a privilege to support divestment and exit mandates, marking the conclusion of successful ventures in the region.
Most recently, HFI was proud to advise Euro Mechanical on its acquisition of Wellube’s Middle East business from Unique Group - a transaction that reinforces Euro Mechanical’s leadership in the UAE and marks its expansion into Qatar, subject to regulatory approval at the time of publication.
The ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference 2025 edition of HFI’s Acquisitions & Divestments in the Middle East reflects our deep industry know-how and this edition is a salute to ADIPEC bring held during 3–6 November in Abu Dhabi – it is now the leading global platform for showcasing energy innovation and in advancing strategic and technological developments across the Middle East and beyond.
In the lead-up to ADIPEC 2025, HFI will be actively engaging with key industry stakeholders at two major events in Dammam: the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress on 1–2 October, and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Middle East 2025 Conference & Exhibition on 14–15 October. These forums provide valuable opportunities to connect with clients and connections and explore emerging trends shaping the energy and logistics sectors.
We hope this latest edition of our Acquisitions & Divestments Guidebook proves insightful for our clients and connections. If you would like to receive a copy, please feel free to contact Sally Reeves at sally.reeves@hfi-consulting.com.
