HFI at MEOS GEO 2025 in Bahrain
Delighted to have attended MEOS GEO - Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Show (MEOS GEO) 2025 in Bahrain
It was a privilege for HFI, represented by Sally Reeves, to join the Energy Industries Council (EIC) MEOS GEO Evening Reception, where Ryan McPherson presented a comprehensive Bahrain Market Update. Notably, Bahrain’s total capex to 2040 is projected at US$8.5 billion, with US$5 billion allocated to renewable energy, of which 70% is dedicated to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
The evening also featured a keynote address by Dr. Ahmed Al-Abri, CEO of ASRY, offering valuable insights into regional developments.
It was a pleasure reconnecting with several clients and industry peers at MEOS GEO:
Christoph Raszczyk (GM) and Davie Levie (VP) of Maxwell Oil Tools, who were exhibiting at the event. Maxwell Oil Tools specialises in composite centralizers and downhole oilfield products. In June 2025, they inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia, supporting local industry and aligning with Vision 2030.
David Barker, Vice President at Inter-Casing Pressure Control Inc. (ICPC), also exhibiting. ICPC provides a rigless, environmentally safe brine-based service to manage inter-casing pressure issues in oil & gas wells.
Danko Sumonja (Program Manager) and Wahid Menacer (Business Development Manager, Middle East & Africa) of ContiTech, which offers a wide range of industrial, hydraulic, and fire-rated hoses tailored for the petroleum sector. In June 2025, parent company Continental announced plans to divest ContiTech in 2026 as part of a strategic shift to focus on its tire business.
Next week HFI is looking forward to attend the EIC Business Briefing: Iraq Market Update on 23 September, followed by the SPE International Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference & Exhibition in Oman, taking place 23–25 September.
Please let us know if you are attending either event and we look forward to connecting with clients and connections there.
