Adventure Tourism To Play Active Role In Tourism Recovery for North East Scotland

A project to increase the value of adventure tourism in Aberdeen City and Shire over the next decade has been funded by Opportunity North East (ONE), Scottish Enterprise and Aberdeenshire Council.

The project will enable the delivery of new land and coastal activities and enhance the local wellbeing economy. The programme takes on increased significance as the tourism sector begins to enter a pandemic recovery phase with a projected £120 million to £160 million increase in visitor spend to 2030.
